About LISCO

LISCO's mission is to bring fast, reliable, and affordable Internet service to Southeast Iowa.

Our company philosophy

All of us here at LISCO share a keen interest in the effect of the Internet on the way we communicate, learn, play, and work. While some principles in life will never change, others are changing at breath-taking speed. We want to understand this change and be a part of it. We share a desire to bring the best of this change to rural America, to see to it that communities like the ones that we live in are not left behind in this new golden age of technology.

Our technical side

We're fast!
LISCO has fast connectivity to the Internet, two DS3's and the ability to expand rapidly if necessary. Our policy to to always keep large amounts of headroom available so our customers will alway experience the maximum possible speed.

We're reliable!
Also, LISCO's Internet service is multi-homed, with more than one vendor and pathway connecting us to the Internet. If a temporary problem occured on one pathway, information would keep flowing on an alternate pathway. We don't put all our eggs in one basket! This means more reliable service for you.

We're helpful!
We also have a large full-time engineering and tech support staff. There are 23 technical people ready to help you and keep your service working smoothly.

Our founder
