LISCO, Southeast Iowa’s leader in Fiber Optic telecommunications, seeks a Data Systems/Network Engineer to:
- set up inter-connectivity of switches and routers for IP network
- configure Data and VoIP in switch and routers
- plan, install and manage ADSL2+ equipment and its accessories
- configure various types of GR303 and VolP Access Devices
- maintain Optical transmission equipment (SONET) interfaces (T1/DS3/0C-3)
- work on various types of OLT’s and ONT’s for FTTH network
- handle E1/T1 tester, fiber-optic tester (optical power meter, Power source, OTDR, etc.) for fault localization
- maintain different types of converters (T1/Ethernet, T1/optical and Optical/Ethernetetc.).
Must have bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field plus two years experience including IP network; Data in VolP in switch and routers; ADSL2+ equipment; various types of GR303 and VolP Access Devices; Optical transmission equipment (SONET) interfaces (T1/DS3/OC-3); various types of OLT’s and ONT’s for FTTH network; E1/T1 tester; different types of converters (T1/Ethernet, T1/optical and Optical/Ethernetetc).
