LISCO WebMail

Free to all LISCO customers

As a LISCO customer, you can now access your e-mail via the Web. This feature allows you to send and receive e-mail, anytime, anywhere in the world, using an HTML browser on any computer that has Internet access. No matter where you are, whether it's at a friend's house, or in a Web cafe in a foreign city, you can have instant access to your existing LISCO e-mail account. Just open any browser (such as Netscape or Internet Explorer) and go to LISCO's WebMail page: http://webmail.lisco.com/

LISCO's WebMail feature also allows you to delete pieces of mail (and any accompanying attachments) that may be so large that they have hampered the normal use of your e-mail program.

Instructions for using LISCO's WebMail

1) First, close the e-mail program that you normally use (Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger, etc.).

2) Use your browser (Netscape Communicator, Internet Explorer, etc.) to go to LISCO's WebMail page: http://webmail.lisco.com/

3) Type in your LISCO username (in lowercase letters).

4) Type in your password (in lowercase letters).

5) Click on the "Login & Check Email" button. After a few moments, a list of the mail for your account will be displayed.

6) At the top and bottom of the screen you'll see a pull-down menu that may say "Page 1of 2," or "Page 2 of 3," etc., depending on how many pages of mail you have.

If you want to display another page of mail, click on the small black triangle.

After the pull-down menu appears, click on the page you want to view. The page you chose will then be displayed.

7) To view a particular message, click on a message in the "Subject " column.

That message will be displayed. To return to the list of messages, click on your browser's back button.

8) To delete a message, use your mouse to place a check mark in the small white box on the left-hand side of the line for that particular message, then click on the "Delete Selected" button.

9) For further instructions and help, click on the "Help" link on the left-hand side of the page.

10) After you're through checking your mail, click on the "Logout" link on the left-hand side of the page. If you don't logout, other people might be able to get access to your mail if they have access to your computer.
