Setting Up WebTV for LISCO

1. The WebTV Home Page

The new WebTV home page should look like the picture to the right. About one fourth of the way down the page you should see a list of options including: TV Home, Switch User, Settings, Account, and Help.

Choose Account from the option bar.

 

2. Use and ISP

The next page is called "Your WebTV Account," It contains several options for Billing and other WebTV options.

We are interested in the option called Use and ISP. Choose that option.

 

3. Sign Up Now

This page has some questions and answers about Internet Service Providers.

Choose the button called Sign Up Now to set up your WebTV for LISCO.

 

4. Choose LISCO as a Service Provider

First, enter "LISCO" as the ISP name. Then click "Continue."

Enter the primary dialup modem access number for LISCO. Choose "Continue."

Enter lower-case username and lower-case password supplied by LISCO. Choose "Continue."

Confirm password. Choose "Continue."

Choose "Use your ISP."

Following this set up, the WebTV Internet unit will reset and reconnect automatically to complete the change. A confirmation screen will appear to verify that the subscriber is using an ISP to access their WebTV subscription.
