Changing the DNS numbers
in Windows NT

1. Close all programs and windows and go to the Desktop.
2. Double-click on the My Computer icon.
3. Double-click on the Dial-Up Networking icon. (A Dial-Up Networking box will appear.)

 

 

4. Under "Phonebook entry to dial,"
make sure the LISCO entry is selected.
5. Click on the MORE button.

 

 

 

6. Select "Edit entry and modem properties.." The Edit Phonebook Entry box will appear.

 

 

7. Click on the Server tab.

 

 

8. With "PPP Windows NT, Windows 95 Plus, Internet" highlighted, click on the PCP/IP Settings button.

 

 

 

9. The PPP TCP/IP Settings box will appear.
10. Make sure "Specify name server addresses" is selected.

 

 

11. Press the TAB key on your keyboard. The cursor will jump down to the left-hand side of the Primary DNS field.
12. Type in the following numbers and periods: 69.18.32.50
13. Press the TAB key on your keyboard. The cursor will jump down to the left-hand side of the Secondary DNS field.
14. Type in the following numbers and periods: 69.18.32.51
15. Click OK, click OK again, then click Close.
