Changing the DNS Numbers
In Windows 2000

1. Close all programs and windows and go to the Desktop.
2. Click on the Start Menu Button.
3. Click on Settings, then click on Network and Dialup Networking.
4. Right-click on the LISCO icon.
5. Choose Properties. (The LISCO Properties box will appear.)

 

 

 

6. Click on the Networking tab.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. With "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" selected, click on the Properties tab.

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. Place your cursor in the white spaces to the right of the words, "Preferred DNS server:" Then use your backspace key to remove whatever numbers are there..
9. In the Primary DNS Server field type in the following:  69.18.32.50
In the Alternate DNS Server field type in the following:
69.18.32.51
10. Click OK to save changes, then click OK again.
