Changing the DNS numbers
in Windows ME

1. Close all programs and windows and go to the Desktop.
2. Click on the Start Menu Button.
3. Click on Settings, then click on Dial-Up Networking. A Dial-Up Networking window will appear.

 

 

 

4. Double-Click on the LISCO icon. A Connect To box will appear.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Click on the Properties button. A LISCO box will appear.

 

 

6. Click on the Networking tab.

 

 

7. Click on the TCP/IP Settings button. The TCP/IP Settings box will appear.

 

 

8. Select Specify name server addresses.

 

 

9. Press the TAB key on your keyboard. The cursor will jump down to the left-hand side of the Primary DNS field.

Type in the following numbers:
69.18.32.50

11. Press the TAB key. The cursor will jump down to the left-hand side of the Secondary DNS field
12. Type in the following numbers:
69.18.32.51
13. Confirm that the numbers on your conputer's screen are the same as the numbers shown to the left.
14. Click on the OK button.
15. Click on the OK button in the remaining dialog boxes to close them. Then close the Dial-Up Networking and My Computer windows.
