  1. The first step is to install your Zhone or Paradyne 6831 modem. Click here for modem installation instructions.
  2. When you’ve finished installing the modem, you should have three lights lit up: Power, Status, and LAN (if you are using a Paradyne 6310 or 6350, the lights would read Power, Line, and Ethernet). If these three lights are on you can start browsing, if you are still getting an error then go on to step three.
  3. Verify your connection settings by choosing your operating system to the right and following the steps provided.

Please note: if switching the device connected to the modem for the first time, please call customer service M-F 8AM-5PM, so that your IP can be released.
