Configuring Outlook Express 4.5
for the Macintosh

1. How to check if you have Outlook Express 4.5

With Outlook Express the active application, choose About Outlook Express from the Apple menu.

The About window will open and show you what version you are using.

If your version is Outlook Express 5.0 go here.

2. Next, open Preferences

To open the Preferences settings click the Preferences Folder icon in the upper right, or choose Preferences from the Edit menu.

3. The Preferences window opens

Here's how the Preferences window should be filled in:

Full Name is your full name.
E-Mail address is your LISCO e-mail address.
SMTP server is out.lisco.com
Account ID is your LISCO username.
POP Server is pop.lisco.com
Password is your LISCO password.
Account name is any name you want to give these settings.

When finished, click the OK button.
