General Settings

Manual Configuration
The information above is to be used if you are manually configuring your dialer, browser, e-mail program, etc., to connect to LISCO. The settings are the same regardless of what type of computer you have (PC, Mac, WebTV, etc.) or what operating system your computer uses (Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Mac 8.5, etc.).

Floppy Disk Configuration
If you have followed the instructions that came with the floppy disk you received from LISCO when you first signed up, and you are successfully browsing and e-mailing, the settings for your browser and e-mail program have already been made on your computer. You will therefore not have to use this information to manually configure your browser, e-mailer, etc.

Username and Password
Your LISCO username (account name) and password are printed on the welcome letter you received when you signed up with LISCO. Your username and password should always be entered in lowercase, with no spaces or punctuation.

E-mail Address
Your e-mail address consists of your LISCO username, followed by "@lisco.com".
For example, if your username were jdoe, then your e-mail address would be jdoe@lisco.com.
