DSL support for Windows 7.

Click on the Windows Logo in the bottom left of the desktop screen.

Open the control panel

Open “Network and Internet”

Click on “Connect to a Network”

A box will pop-up to the right listing available networks.

If you are plugged in directly it should show up as “currently connected to:” and then the name of the network. The internet should be working. The default LAN settings are correct unless you are using static IP. If you are unsure of what a static IP is, you are probably NOT using static IP or have an in house IT person you can see for help.
